Never miss the page that actually matters.

Beeping — pageable alerts for iOS and Mac — turns any script, monitor, or teammate into a critical push notification on your phone or Mac, delivered through Apple's push service, confirmed on arrival, and logged locally so you always know what happened while you were away.

Features

Built for the moment something breaks

Every part of Beeping is designed around getting the right alert to the right device, reliably.

Real push notifications

Delivered through Apple Push Notification service — not a background poll, not an email digest. Critical, high, and normal severities each behave differently on your lock screen.

Pairing codes

Every device gets short, shareable codes. Hand one to a teammate, a monitoring tool, or a CI pipeline — revoke it any time without affecting your other codes.

Simple REST API

One HTTP call sends a page. No SDK, no signup flow for senders — just a pairing code and a POST request. See the docs

Local history

Every alert is stored on-device, so your incident history survives restarts and reboots — not just a session log that vanishes when you force-quit the app.

Native on Mac too

The same account, pairing codes, and alerts sync in spirit across a native SwiftUI Mac app — sidebar navigation, not a stretched iPhone screen.

Delivery confirmation

Send a test push from Settings and watch delivery get confirmed automatically — no guessing whether your setup actually works.

How it works

Three steps to your first page

1

Install and open Settings

Grant notification permission, then generate a pairing code for this device. You can create more than one — one per integration is common.

2

Share the code

Paste it into the Send tab yourself, hand it to a teammate, or drop it into a script, monitoring alert, or CI job using the API.

3

Get paged

The push arrives on every device using that code, with the severity you chose controlling how it interrupts — from a quiet banner to a lock-screen-breaking alert.
